Italian Nachos

Ingredients

  • 1x small bunch of fresh basil leaves
  • 1x 1lb bag of kettle cooked unflavored potato chips 
  • 1/2 of an Italian Torta chopped into small pieces. 

Instructions

  1. Position rack in oven about 6-8 inches below broiler. 
  2. Preheat broiler on high
  3. Using a baking sheet, scatter the bag of chips evenly and top with the chopped Torta.  
  4. Broil until torta is melted and chips are toasted.
  5. Pay close attention to broiler because it can burn very quickly. 
  6. Stack your basil leaves to make a pile and then roll like a cigar.  Finely slice through to make ribbons of basil.  
  7. Scatter over nachos and enjoy.
